Pushy cow puts farmer in clinic
A farmer suffered serious head injuries when a cow pushed him against a wall as he tried to tie up the animal. The 40-year-old man was airlifted to a clinic in Graz, Styria, after the incident in Deutsch Ehrensdorf, Burgenland, yesterday afternoon (Mon). Fatal bathing accident in Styria
A Styrian man died in a pond near Feldbach yesterday afternoon (Tues). The 58-year-old was already dead when a doctor and paramedics arrived at the lake in Riegersburg. Witnesses told the police he swam to the middle of the public bathing pond before he drowned. Medics did not manage to resuscitate him.
