International Christian School of Vienna to offer International Baccalaureate

The International Christian School of Vienna (ICSV) has been accepted as an official IB World School Candidate for the Diploma Program. The ICSV is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School for the school year 2014/15.

Mr. James Devenish, Director of the ICSV said: “We are excited about this new development and the fact that our graduates will soon not only be able to graduate with AP (Advanced Placement), but also with the IB.

“We want to see our students well prepared for their future and know that access to good universities is key to their success. The IB will give our graduates greater options with regard to their further education, opening the doors to more universities around the world.”

Founded in 1968, the International Baccalaureate (IB) is a leading programme in international education working with more than 3000 schools in over 140 countries.
