Bus – tram crash in Vienna

No one was injured when a bus collided with a tram in Vienna yesterday (Tues).Viennese newspapers report today that a bus crashed into a tram in the city’s Ottakring district around midday.None of the vehicles’ dozens of passengers were harmed in the accident which caused long tailbacks.One of the worst traffic accidents that occurred in the federal capital so far this year involved a line 2 tram in October.Twelve people were injured when driver of the coach transporting a group of tourists from Serbia failed to notice an oncoming tram when he drove round a bend in the city centre.
