Fake doc busted

A German has been arrested for working as an emergency doctor after presenting fake documents.Oliver Löhlein, head of the Viennese Samaritans Association, confirmed today (Thurs) that the man was taken into custody after having participated in rescue missions for around a month. He stressed that the case was unprecedented.The man – a professional actor – was hired by the NGO after he presented forged documents claiming he had worked as a paramedic in the German state of Baden-Württemberg.Colleagues grew suspicious after the German acted “reluctantly” when on duty.Reports have it that the man successfully applied to the Red Cross in Tulln just outside Vienna after being dismissed by the Samaritans Association in the capital.Prosecutors have started investigating him for fraud. The man may face jail if it is revealed that people were harmed as a result of his actions.
