Bundesliga thriller sold out

Sunday’s Bundesliga face-off between league leaders Red Bull Salzburg and second-place Rapid Vienna was sold out as of this morning (Tues), Rapid bosses have announced.The match will be vice champions Rapid’s chance to overtake the “Bulls” in the table again. Peter Pacult’s team are currently three points down to the star-studded side coached by Dutchman Huub Stevens, who has had a better start of the second part of the season.Red Bull won both of their first two matches after the winter break, while the “Green-Whites” garnered only one point in two games.It would be the third Bundesliga title in four seasons for Red Bull, while all-time record champions Rapid Vienna have won 32 league titles.The match, set to be attended by 17,500 fans at Vienna’s Gerhard Hanappi Stadium, will be broadcast live by ORF 1 and via live stream on www.orf.at, the national broadcaster’s website. Kick off time is 3.30pm.The league’s 22nd round will start on Friday when sixth-placed Mattersburg host Austria Vienna, currently in third place.
