Segway mountain plunge

A tourist from Vorarlberg is in a critical condition after falling off a mountain path after using a Segway on an officially organised tour at Seefeld in Tirol.

Local police who are investigating have admitted that the Segway might not be the best thing to use on a mountain route, and are investigating how safe the tours are.

The 42-year-old was taken by helicopter to Innsbruck Hospital with serious injuries after the accident on the path from Kirchwaldsiedlung towards Mösern
