Teen fires shot in Vienna tram

A jobless teenager was arrested after shooting with his gun inside a tram in Vienna.Police in the capital announced today (Tues) David W. fired a shot into the ceiling of the line 5 tram wagon with his gas-powered sport gun on Sunday afternoon after having argued with other passengers for some time.The 18-year-old dashed out of the tram after the incident but was caught by police a few hundred metres from where the incident occurred in Leopoldstadt district. He was put in custody as investigations into whether he had a gun licence and what caused him to shoot continue.
