Manslaughter charges over climber’s death

A climber faces involuntary manslaughter charges over the death of a colleague.Prosecutors started investigating today (Tues) after a 21-year-old Styrian passed away on Saturday due to the serious he suffered in a 12-metre fall at a climbing hall in Graz last Wednesday.His friend of the same age is accused of being responsible for the death since he was inattentive for a moment while belaying him. The young man sustained a fractured skull and a brain haemorrhage.
