Austrian DJ eyes world record

An Upper Austrian DJ has vowed to win back the title for the longest nonstop deejaying session.Rene Brunner a.k.a. DC DJ said today (Weds) he will entertain around 6,000 party-makers at an event in Newport Beach, California, USA, from 31 August for at least five consecutive days and nights.The 29-year-old from Marchtrenk, Upper Austria, was record holder twice some years ago for sessions of 76 and 93 hours before a Swiss rival put on records for 120 hours – or five days – in a row.Now local hero DJ DC said he was not only determined to set a new world record but also to release an album to launch a global career.
