Juliette Lewis to rock Salzburg
Hollywood actress Juliette Lewis will come to Salzburg for a performance with her new band this June.The “From Dusk till Dawn” star will rock the stage at the citys Rockhouse club on 8 June, according to a report by Austrian music news platform Britishrock.cc from today (Tues).Lewis has over the past few years neglected her acting ambitions in favour of pursuing a career in rock music. After splitting up her band Juliette and the Licks last year, she put out the album “Terra Incognita” with The New Romantiques, her new group.An upcoming performance by former Freundeskreis front man Max Herre was also announced today. The German singer will perform at the Rockhouse Salzburg on 17 May.Freundeskreis had a summer hit with the ballad “A-N-N-A” in 1997, while Herre has released two records as a solo artist since 2004.Other upcoming concert highlights are the performance of Brazilian metal heroes Sepultura at the Stereo club in Klagenfurt on 11 August and the concert by Vienna-based indie pop group Jonas Goldbaum at the at Viennas B72 on 10 May.
