Woman survives fall in crevasse

A woman has survived unhurt after falling into a crevasse whilst skiing on the Stubtaier glacier in Tirol, Austria.

The woman fell two and a half metres down the crevasse whilst skiing at around 3000 metres above sea level.

The woman from the Baden area of Lower Austria had ventured off piste to explore and enjoy the fresh snow despite warning signs.
