Driver crashes into tractor and dies

A 56-year-old man from Carinthia succumbed to his head injuries sustained when he crashed into the back of a tractor.The motorist may have been speeding when he slammed into the agricultural vehicle which was going at walking pace on the B114 near Trieben in the Styrian district of Judenburg yesterday evening (Thurs).The farmer got away from the accident – which occurred after a bend in the road – with minor injuries.Also yesterday, a motorcyclist landed in a roadside sewage tank after crashing into a truck in Hörsching, Upper Austria. The 28-year-old was transferred to a hospital in the city of Linz via helicopter.
