Child critical after pool plunge

A young boy is fighting for his life after a bathing accident.The four-year-old was fished out of the water by his mum after he leapt into a public pool in Braunau, Upper Austria, yesterday afternoon (Tues). The woman resuscitated the unconscious kid before he was transferred to the local clinic.Doctors decided to airlift him to a hospital in the city of Linz later on the same day. They described his condition as life-threatening.The boy may have jumped into the water after a toy fell into it, according to reports.Only last Saturday, a pool attendant saved the life of a seven-year-old boy by resuscitating him. The child almost drowned after his dad left him unattended briefly at the public swimming pool, according to police in Wels.
