Man killed after running onto busy motorway

Police are investigating after a man died on the A8 Innkreis motorway in Upper Austria under mysterious circumstances.The elderly man, believed to be a 65-year-old Upper Austrian, was run down by a truck after running down a roadside embankment yesterday (Tues).It is matter of investigations why the man, who died instantly, ran onto the busy motorway.The number of people who lost their lives on streets in Austria declined by 6.8 per cent year on year to 633 in 2009, according to statistics authority Statistik Austria.
