Chocolate truck nicked

A lorry transporting chocolate worth more than 100,000 Euros was tracked down in Germany after being stolen in the Austrian province of Tyrol.The truck was discovered by police just across the Austrian-German border yesterday evening (Mon). None of its cargo – 21 tons of fine chocolate worth 125,000 Euros – were missing.The vehicle disappeared from a car park in Völs. The driver, who lives in the town, decided to park it there overnight before continuing his journey to Traiskirchen in Lower Austria. He informed police after realising the lorry was gone yesterday morning.Officials managed to find the truck, owned by a company in the Vorarlberg town of Bludenz, within hours by checking its satellite navigation signals.Meanwhile, police in Guntramsdorf said they were looking into the theft of three hot-air balloons worth more than 180,000 Euros.
