The children’s theatre performance of “Hansel und Gretel” are on the agenda again at the Roman quarry at St Margarethen.
A highlight of the performance this year is the 8 m high which is house and the movable stage.
It is estimated that around 15,000 visitors will come to visit the performance.
Director and stage-builder Manfred Waba was responsible for bringing in and setting up the impressive 10 m wide steel movable stage that also has space for the house of the parents and a magic wood.
As Hansel und Gretel are Mezzosoprano Elisabeth Fruhmann and Soprano Elisabeth Pratscher.
The witch is played by Andreas Ertl.
