Motorcyclist killed in crash

An elderly biker died in a head-on collision in Lower Austria this morning (Weds).The 61-year-old man lost control of his motorcycle before crashing into an oncoming truck in Klausen-Leopoldsdorf in the province’s Baden district.Paramedics reached the site of the accident within minutes, but their resuscitation attempts failed to save his life.The lorry driver did not sustain any injuries in the crash.Only last week, a 54-year-old resident of Vienna suffered multiple injuries when he was hit by a female car driver as he entered a road in Vienna-Döbling from a driveway.
