Elderly woman stuck in bathtub for four days

An Upper Austrian pensioner was trapped in her bathtub for four days, it has emerged.Police in Schärding said today (Mon) Maria Rauscher, 78, was freed when her daughter came to visit her on Saturday.The woman, who lives on her own, told her horrified daughter she could not get up after taking a bath on Wednesday.”I screamed for help and hammered against the walls but no one heard me,” the elderly woman is quoted as saying by local press.Doctors at a local hospital said Rauscher did not suffer any serious injuries.
