Bull knocks down farmer

A bull will be slaughtered after he put an elderly farmer into a clinic, officials in Vorderstoder said today (Weds).The animal knocked the 60-year-old man to the ground at his farm in the town in Upper Austria’s Kirchdorf district yesterday evening (Tues). The farmer’s son, 28, managed to get clear by leaping over a fence.The seriously injured man, who was unconscious when a doctor arrived, was airlifted to a local clinic. The raging bull will be put to sleep, it was announced.
