German kayaker hospitalised

A German holidaymaker had to be hospitalised after a kayaking accident.The 25-year-old was rescued by friends after capsizing in a river in the Tyrolean district of Reutte yesterday (Sun). He was unconscious when an ambulance arrived to take him to a clinic.The man’s pals said his head was underwater for some minutes before they eventually managed to get him out of the water.
