Jobless man nabbed over €700 dinner riot

An unemployed man has been arrested after he clocked up a bill of over 700 Euros at a posh restaurant but failed to pay.The 47-year-old had several courses and two bottles of wine at the Steirereck restaurant in Vienna-Landstraße yesterday evening (Weds).Managers of the award-winning eatery – considered to be one of the best restaurants in Europe – called the police when the man became aggressive and tried to escape after his credit card failed to work. The man, who failed to calm down in the presence of the police officers, was put in detention.
