Car-torching may be linked to will forgery scandal

Police checking alleged forgeries of last wills are intensifying their investigations after two cars were set on fire yesterday (Thurs).Five juridical officials and eight more people are accused of having forged wills of deceased Vorarlberg residents for years. The alleged malpractices have been the centre of investigations by police in Dornbirn for nearly a year.Investigators said today that there could be a link between the ongoing examinations and an arson attack on two cars parked outside the city court yesterday afternoon.The affected vehicles were parked at the staff car park of the courthouse in Dornbirn. One of the seriously damaged cars belonged to Yvonne Summer who was only recently appointed as new head of the court.
