Styrian killed in head-on crash in Hungary

A 33-year-old Austrian has died shortly after a car accident in Hungary.The man from the Austrian province of Styria died at a clinic due to the massive injuries he suffered in the head-on collision on the M70 main road near Letenye yesterday (Weds).Local police said today the driver of the other car – a Romanian citizen – died instantly. They added investigations into what caused the crash were ongoing.Only last month, an Austrian family lost their lives in a traffic accident in the neighbouring country.The trio from Rechnitz in Burgenland’s Oberwart district – a man, his wife and their two-year-old daughter – died after colliding with a truck near the Hungarian town of Köszeg.
