Cab driver breaks fare’s jaw
A 23-year-old taxi driver has been arrested for breaking a passengers jaw.The cab driver argued with the 20-year-old soldier about the amount he had to pay for the ride in Zell am See, Salzburg, on Saturday night. The row ended when the cabbie suddenly punched the soldier in the face.The young man was transferred to the local hospital before he was hospitalised in Salzburgs Provincial Clinic. The violent taxi driver faces charges over the incident.Last month, a drunk passenger was put in custody for attacking a cab driver after being asked to stop smoking in the vehicle.The 48-year-old man ripped off the cars rear-view mirror and punched the female driver, 34, in the face when she ordered him to extinguish his cigarette in St. Pölten, Lower Austria.
