Farmers hit upon dope cultivation
Two farmers have discovered a massive cannabis plant in the middle of one of their fields, it has emerged.Police in Upper Austrias Urfahr-Umgebung district said today (Mon) that the corn farmers contacted them after spotting the illegal plantation when they gathered the harvest this morning.Drug experts said the confiscated marijuana had a street sale value of around 90,000 Euros.This discovery comes just weeks after fire-fighters in federal capital Vienna found a cannabis plantation after being called out about a leaky ceiling.The firemen found more than 180 marijuana crops in a 22-year-olds flat after tenants of the apartment beneath his flat called them up as water had started dripping from the ceiling.Police said the man admitted to having been cultivating the plants with two friends for some time.
