Student nurse expelled over juicy photos wins in court

A court has overruled the expulsion of a student nurse who was kicked out after posing for a series of saucy photographs.Bosses at the nursing college in Leoben decided to expel blonde Ramona Galler after she was portrayed in lingerie by a famous photographer in April.Galler asked her school’s board whether she could invite Manfred Baumann and a film crew from the private channel Puls 4 onto school property. Decision-makers gave the green light without checking what kind of photographs would be taken.School bosses fired the 24-year-old, expressing fears that the publication of the juicy photographs could cause sexual assaults against students.Baumann – who has worked with stars like Bruce Willis and Lionel Richie – said back then: “I can’t understand it. These pictures were just a test. We’ve been in talks with [German men’s magazine] FHM – and Ramona wore clothes in all the photographs!”Galler, from the Styrian town of Trofaiach, decided to take the school to court after she was expelled following an internal hearing in which she was only allowed to answer “yes” or “no”.”I was told the fact I had posed for these photographs could lead to an increase of sexual attacks on other students,” she fumed. Now judges in Graz said Galler must be allowed back to the college. They stressed yesterday (Weds) that school officials had had the chance to check what kind of photos would be taken in the building. The verdict is not legally binding yet, and the school’s legal team has not made clear whether they planned to appeal it.
