Technician injured as gun powder explodes in living room lab

Police have said they will interrogate a Styrian technician who suffered burns when explosives blew up at his home.Provincial police investigator Günter Peterka said today (Fri) the 26-year-old Edelschrott resident was hospitalised at a Graz clinic with second and third degree burns after Wednesday night’s incident.He added officers found gun powder and other substances at the man’s house which was badly damaged by the blast.”The man was interested in chemistry since childhood. He ran a laboratory at his house,” Peterka explained.The police official said he hoped interviews with the severely injured man – set to take place over the weekend or next week – will reveal what his plans were.
