Fear Factory to hit Austria

Heavy metal legends Fear Factory will perform in Vienna this December, it has emerged.Arena concert hall bosses announced today (Thurs) that the four-member band from Los Angeles, USA, will give a concert at the venue on 9 December.Fear Factory, who have released eight full-length studio albums since 1992, are considered being one of the most influential acts of the genre.”Obsolete” from 1998 is their most successful record. It reached number 77 in the USA’s Billboard 200 and was certified gold in Australia.Meanwhile, online music newspaper Britishrock.cc reports that popular Pink Floyd cover band The Australian Pink Floyd Show will hit the stage at Vienna’s Gasometer on 13 February 2011.Other eagerly awaited concerts are the gigs by Korn in Vienna this Sunday (26 September), ZZ Top (Graz, 14 October) and Wallis Bird (19 October, Innsbruck).
