Cooperation opens Slovenian market window for Stabil

Styrian window producer Stabil hopes to become a main player in former Yugoslavian countries after teaming up with a Slovenian competitor.Stabil boss Dieter Manz said today (Thurs) his firm would closely cooperate with MIK who sell around 100,000 of its products in Slovenia and Croatia every year.Manz said the partnership would give Stabil the chance to get a foothold in Slovenia and maybe enter the Croatian market.Stabil, which is headquartered in Gabersdorf, has around 300 employees. It managed to increase its turnover from 27.2 million Euros in 2008 to 32 million Euros the next year.The company became part of the German Haas Group in 2000 which achieved an overall 2009 turnover of 470 million Euros last year.
