Reward over beheaded kitten

Animal activists are promising a reward after a decapitated cat was found in a Lower Austrian town.A spokesman for Vier Pfoten, an internationally operating animal rights organisation, said today (Mon) the charity will pay 500 Euros to the one whose tip-off leads to the person who killed the animal discovered in a back garden in Perchtoldsdorf at the weekend.The Vier Pfoten official said they were “certain” that an animal torturer murdered the pet, adding that police were having the same suspicion.Several pets apparently killed by humans were found in various regions across Austria over the past weeks.Meanwhile, a 22-year-old man was given a suspended 14-month prison sentence for stabbing his girlfriend’s dog several times in Graz, Styria.
