Gourmet and Glock tastings at the Jagdhotel
The four star gourmet Jagdhotel in Guntramsdorf, Austria, is hosting two evenings of wine and top culinary fare during March. The wine tasting will take place in the hotel located just 20 kilometres from Vienna.
Creative, regional cuisine lies at the heart of Gabriele and Franz Fakler’s hotel located on the Austrian wine route in Guntramsdorf. Franz himself is the wine expert with an extensive cellar of outstanding wines from both Austrian and international growers.
This March the hotel will host wine tastings from the local Glock vineyard. The high quality wines have been produced on the seven acre plot by cellar master Hans Glock since 1985 with the help of Jacob Glock since 2009. A series of wines from the producers will be tried alongside the gourmet menu including Grüner Veltliner, Cabernet Sauvignon and a St. Laurent.
The six course menu will include a black salsify tart, smoked roast beef with a chicory and pea salad and braised pigs cheeks. Each course will be accompanied with a different wine from Glock.
The tasting costs 49 Euros per person and takes place on 21 and 22 March.
