Top footy clubs will descend on Styria again this year for their pre-season training session.
Up to 22 teams from 13 countries including English premier clubs West Bromwich and Fulham, Danish champs FC Copenhagen and Germany’s Bundesliga clubs Hertha BSC will base themselves in the Austrian province for the duration of the 18th Football Camp.
Organiser Nik Pichler said: “The clubs attract many fans and journalists with last year seeing 1,500 overnight stays thanks to the training camps.”
But he added that other big names such as Real Madrid and Barcelona would not be coming.
“It’s just like any other business, it’s the money that decides,” he said.
