Red Bull boss replaced

The director of Red Bull Salzburg football team has been replaced just half a year after taking up his position.

Peter Vogl will be replaced by 40-year-old Jochen Sauer from German Bundesliga club VfL Wolfsburg from September.

Vogl will however in the future continue to work as an advisor and lawyer, Red Bull confirmed.

Sauer said: “I am certain we can build a strong team with Gerard Houllier and Ralf Rangnick which will lead to long term success.

Red Bull Sport Director Ralf Rangnick is continuing to build a strong team. he has named Oliver Glasner as assistant trainer.
