Alaba two year deal at Bayern

Austrian teenage sensation David Alaba has penned a two year contract extension at Bayern Munich. The new deal will keep the 18-year-old at the German giants until June 2015.

The young starlet spent the second half of last season on loan at Hoffenheim also in Germany where he made 17 appearances – scoring twice.

Bayern sporting director Christian Nerlinger showed his delight at the new deal by saying: “We are happy to have secured such a talented young player on a long-term basis.”

Alaba moved from Austria Vienna to Bayern as a 15-year-old and quickly rose through the ranks at the Bundesliga club. The midfielder made his first team debut at the age of 17 and became the youngest ever player to represent the Austrian national team against France aged 17 years and 4 months.
