Record pollen summer may lie ahead

Doctors have warned of a year with a strong pollen pollution.Experts said at a conference in Vienna yesterday (Thurs) that the amount of pollen in the air could be twice as high in some areas in Austria this spring and summer than in 2009.The panel of doctors warned many people would underestimate allergies. They explained that around two thirds of sufferers would only see a specialist when their afflictions have become unbearable.
