Driver reverses to hit police car

A crazed motorist was arrested after ploughing into a police car – in reverse gear.

Police officers decided to follow the man due to his erratic driving style in Vienna-Favoriten on Wednesday evening. After the boozed-up driver finally pulled over, he put his vehicle into reverse to crash into the parked police car.

The 54-year-old then physically attacked the two police officers who had to apply pepper spray to overpower the offender. He is still in custody awaiting charges, it was reported today (Fri).
