Kittens dumped in garbage container
A waste management company employee has discovered three baby cats in a rubbish container in Fohnsdorf, Styria.One of the animals was already dead when the woman searched the container after hearing the young catsÂ’ whining on Wednesday. A local animal shelter is taking care of the other two cats believed to be just a few days old. Their condition is stable, a spokesman for the establishment said today (Fri).Only last month, a motorist threw four kittens out of a car while driving along a busy main road near Traiskirchen, Lower Austria. Two of the cats survived the incident. The offender is being sought by police.
