Drug racket exposed

Upper Austrian investigators smashed what is believed to be one of the busiest drug trafficking organisations of the country.The four suspects – three men and one woman aged between 19 and 27 – are accused of having dealt with heroin and marijuana worth 160,000 Euros. The illegal substances were smuggled into Austria from Eastern Europe (EE), according to investigations.The suspects, of whom one is Austrian and the others from EE states, are in custody in Wels awaiting charges, it was announced today (Tues).
