Biker lands in sewage pool

A 28-year-old motorcyclist ended up in a wastewater tank after crashing into a truck.The man from Kirchberg-Thening steered into the Czech lorry when the vehicle took a bend the moment he wanted to overtake it in Hörsching near Linz, Upper Austria, yesterday evening (Thurs).The biker was hurled into the air before landing in a roadside pool in which an industrial company separates oil from water. The seriously injured man was airlifted to a clinic in Linz. The lorry driver escaped the crash unharmed.Only on Monday, a 19-year-old motorcyclist died from a traumatic brain injury after colliding with an oncoming car near Wettmannstätten in the Styrian district of Deutschlandsberg.
