Confused duck family on motorway
Police shut a busy motorway to rescue a disorientated family of ducks.Motorists called the local traffic police after spotting how the 12-member family were about to enter the busy three-lane A10 Tauern highway near Golling in Salzburg this morning (Fri).Police officers preliminarily closed the motorway in one direction to save the ducksÂ’ lives. Three ducklings had been run over and killed when the officers reached the scene. The rest of the family were transferred to a local animal shelter.Earlier this week, an unidentified driver threw four young cats out of his car while driving. Two of them passed away a short while later, police in Traiskirchen near Vienna said.
