Allergic AC/DC fans make full recovery

All of the dozens of AC/DC fans who needed treatment for showing allergic reactions during a concert on Saturday will make a full recovery, medical officials in Wels have announced.Around 150 visitors of the Australian hard rock legends’ concert in the Upper Austrian city had to be treated after they complained about burning eyes.Doctors found that the music fans showed allergic reactions to bark mulch spread at the venue – the runway of Wels Airport – to avoid the soil getting too muddy after hours of massive rainfall. No other major incidents occurred at the gig as more than 90,000 fans enjoyed the band’s performance. It was unclear for months whether the concert would get the green light after a team of explosives experts discovered two World War Two aerial bombs at the venue.Animal activists meanwhile failed to convince local officials to cancel the gig to protect colonies of rare birds nesting in the area.
