Pensioner bites policeman during traffic check

An 83-year-old woman punched and bit two policemen as she faced being banned from the roads in Styria’s Bruck an der Mur district yesterday (Thurs).The pensioner who failed to present a driving licence during a routine traffic check on the B116 main road near Kapfenberg, lashed out at the officers when they asked her to hand over her car keys.The woman was then arrested after biting one of the policemen. She was released on the same day after being examined by a medical officer and is now facing charges for driving without a licence and assault.
