Brit and German collide on Tyrolean slope

A 32-year-old British ski instructor and a 22-year-old German skier were hospitalised after an on-piste smash in the Tyrolean ski resort of Scheffau on Monday, local officials announced today (Weds).Police said the Brit suffered several fractures, including some broken vertebras, while the German injured his right knee and left shoulder in the collision.Both were helicoptered to a clinic in Kufstein.
