Mirren mulls over sex life disclosures
Helen Mirren has fuelled rumours that a sequel of her autobiography could feature juicy details about her sexual experiences.
The actress – who published “In the Frame” to wide acclaim four years ago – told Austrian movie news magazine Skip: “Haha, well, I would truly love to write about my sex life. But I would do so only when I’m 90, so that it gets published posthumously.”
Mirren added: “A sequel is possible. Maybe it will contain fewer pictures and more text (than ‘In the Frame’) though.”
Asked whether a book on her sex life would be a tome, the award-winning movie star said: “No, rather thin – but very dense as far as its content is concerned.”
Mirren told Skip it was “inexplicable” to her why she was still regarded as a sex symbol aged 66. “I have no idea why that is. But I find it flattering, of course,” she said.
The actress also dismissed speculations more and more offers to star in Hollywood productions could make her settle there. “I still live in London. I am and will remain British,” Mirren promised.
