‘The Hoff’ lined up for folk music show
“Baywatch” legend David Hasselhoff will be the star guest at a “Musikantenstadl” show later this month.Austrian broadcaster ORF said today (Thurs) that “The Hoff” is lined up for the show at the Salzburg Arena on 24 April.Producers of the show announced the 57-year-old will perform his new song “This Time Around” as well as a medley of his biggest hits together with Andy Borg, an Austrian Schlager crooner and presenter of the “Musikantenstadl”.”K.I.T.T.”, his co-star car from the TV series “Knight Rider” will also have a special appearance in the two-hour primetime TV show.Italian singer Al Bano Carrisi will also perform at the upcoming “Musikantenstadl” show, which is a popular folk music and Schlager entertainment programme co-produced by Swiss, German and Austrian TV companies.It was rumoured Hasselhoff would attend last months first Viennese Film Ball, but he reportedly rejected organisers invitation.Hollywood star Kevin Spacey was eventually the events surprise star guest. Viennese papers reported Spacey enjoyed the citys extensive nightlife.Austrian Oscar winners Maximilian Schell, Stefan Ruzowitzky and Christoph Waltz also attended the City Hall event.
