Businessman killed by reversing lorry
An entrepreneur died on the spot after he was pushed against a wall by a truck in an accident on a worksite in Upper Austria yesterday morning (Weds), police said today.The 43-year-old head of a storage hall in Wallern in the provinces Grieskirchen district was giving directions to the Polish driver as he wanted to reverse the vehicle through a narrow gate. The motorist however ploughed down the company boss who died instantly after being crushed against a wall.The incident occurred just days after a man suffocated in a pool of mud as he attempted to steal a digger from an construction site in Ranshofen, Upper Austria. The 55-year-old mans body was discovered behind the wheel of the vehicle by workers when they returned from their lunch break.
