Austrian arrested in Croatia over child porn

An Austrian has been put in detention in Croatia after police discovered child porn material on his mobile phone.The Croatian Times reports today (Thurs) that the man’s mobile phone was checked by police officers after residents in Banjol on the island of Rab reported him for filming passing children.Police decided to search his mobile’s memory amid fears he might be a paedophile – and discovered 11 photographs considered as child pornography’.Reports have it that the images were not taken by the man but downloaded from illegal websites.The 42-year-old tourist is in custody awaiting charges.
