Pensioner killed in treehouse fall

A Burgenland pensioner died after falling off a tree yesterday (Tues).Police in Gols said today the man, 77, wanted to cut some of the tree’s branches in his garden. But after climbing onto a treehouse to cut the branches the roof collapsed sending him plunging five metres to the ground.The man, who was found lying on the floor by his wife around 11am, died in a clinic in the Lower Austrian city of Wiener Neustadt the same day.
