Herzog says Werder must snatch Arnautovic
Former national team captain Andreas Herzog has appealed to bosses at his former club Werder Bremen to sign Marko Arnautovic.The 21-year-old striker is currently looking for a new club after leaving Champions League winners Inter after just one year. Arnautovic is still owned by his former club Twente Enschede. But the Vienna-born player already made clear he will not return to the Dutch side under any circumstances.Now Herzog, who played for German Bundesliga giants Werder for more than seven years, said: “If Werder get the chance to sign Marko, they definitely should take the opportunity.”Herzog, 41, and manager of Austrias Under-21s team of which Arnautovic is a key member, praised the strikers skills. “Hes tall, quick and technically strong,” he told German newspaper Bild.”Hes lacking experience.
