Czech skier falls 100 metres

A Czech skier was seriously injured yesterday (Sun) when he fell 100 metres while touring on the Krippenstein mountain in Upper Austria, police said.The man strayed into an area marked by signs warning it was impassable and dangerous but nonetheless kept going until he fell. A companion sounded the alarm.Rescuers took the man by helicopter to a nearby hospital.
